DAY 6: Palo

Tonight we ate at Palo, an exclusive restaurant on the top deck of the Disney Wonder. The restaurant only takes reservations and they need to be made before the ship sets sail. We enjoyed the view from Deck 10 before heading into the restaurant for dinner.

Palo is a beautiful restaurant. In true Disney fashion, there was so much detail in the design.

Everyone tried something different from the menu. Would you believe that not one of us was disappointed?

With our waiter, Toni, from Croatia

Nana was very excited for her Chocolate Lava Cake!

The kids had so much fun at the Disney Center while we were at dinner. We had a hard time leaving them at first, but they were sad to have to leave! Fortunately, there was a fun towel creature waiting for them back in the room.

Tomorrow is our last full day on the Disney Wonder!

DAY 6: Cabo San Lucas (Again!)

Due to "dangerous conditions" in Mazatlan, travel plans were changed and we spent an additional day in Cabo San Lucas. Everyone had to be back on board by 11:00am, so we decided to stay on the ship. (Also, Mommy did not like the tender boats!)

The kids made new friends while playing shuffleboard - Who needs rules when you're four and free!?

We got a chance to see the Lobby Atrium without anyone in it. Gorgeous!

We took the kids to see The Lion King at the movie theater. It was only a few weeks away from being re-released on DVD, so they were excited to get preview before their friends back home.

Lunch!

Because of an accidental room service call the evening before, the DCL sent us chocolate covered strawberries as an apology for the 2am wake-up call.

Tonight, we have reservations at Palo - a private restaurant on the top deck of the Disney Wonder!

DAY 5: Yo-Ho, Yo-Ho...

After our first day in Cabo San Lucas, we geared up for a pirate-themed night aboard the Disney Wonder.

First on the agenda was meeting Captain Jack Sparrow. Aaarrggghhh...

... and Minnie Mouse!

Then we headed to the Animator's Palate for dinner. We all got bandanas to wear in honor of our pirate friends.

Walking in a Pirate Dinner Parade with Gloria!

We walked over to to the Pirate Party (and found Captain hook on our way!), but the kids were exhausted from a long day in the heat.

DAY 5: Cabo San Lucas

We woke up bright and early to catch the first glimpses of Cabo San Lucas as we began pulling into port.

To get to land from our ship, cruisers had to take tenders (small boats) to docks in Cabo San Lucas.

It was a hot and humid day in Cabo San Lucas.

Wyatt loved shaking hands and posing with the pirate "statues" along the beach.

We had lunch at Senor Frogs and enjoyed a few minutes in the shade.

After lunch, Mom and Nana decided to take the kids back to the ship. It was just too hot and miserable outside! Matt, Renae, and Dad stayed back and walked around Cabo San Lucas for a couple more hours.

We can't wait for Pirate Night this evening!
